Traprock Center Volunteer Opportunities

A message from Traprock board member Bill Carrithers and Director Sher Sweet who are organizing volunteer opportunities:

Many dedicated volunteers help Traprock by fullfilling important roles that keep the organization running. Some examples of these are “tabling” at the many local events we support; hospitality at the events Traprock puts on, including the weekly film series: Reel World at Traprock; fund-raising in various capacities; publicity; technical and office work; cleaning; recycling; organizing, and even providing music at certain of our events.

This is just a short list, please contact us (see below) and a member of the Volunteer Committee will get back to you to discuss all the available opportunities at Traprock.

If you are interested in doing something for Traprock, something for the world, and something for yourself you can contact us in the following ways. We’d love to talk with you!

  • Email us at: traprockvols@hotmail.com
  • Stop by the Traprock Center at: 24 Miles Street, Greenfield, MA 01301. See the Home Page for hours
  • Or call us at: (413) 773-7427

Although there are a lot of opportunities to contribute your time and effort, at this time we are especially in need of someone who is *really good with computers*, particularly debugging and the like. And someone with *strong bookkeeping/accounting skills*.

***Special Yoga Offer: JEAN ERLBAUM is offering a FREE 6 week yoga class for 10 hours of volunteering at Traprock. Thanks Jean!!*
